Pure Wild Honeybush
We make one thing and we make it well, pure wild honeybush from the Langkloof mountains. The project began in 2016 with Natasha in the Netherlands championing South African honeybush abroad. After a tough early chapter the factory was saved, Eskom arrears were negotiated, and solar was installed so production could restart. Three local farmers invested to keep the value in the community. Today our tea is harvested in the wild, gently processed, and packed for a clean, naturally sweet cup.
The Honeybush Story
What is honeybush
Honeybush is a South African fynbos plant in the genus Cyclopia. It brews a golden cup with soft floral notes and natural sweetness. It is naturally caffeine free and smooth on the palate. Unlike rooibos, honeybush leans more honeyed and round.
Where it grows
Our leaves and stems are harvested from wild stands in the Langkloof. The plants thrive in poor, sandy soils and mountain air. Harvest permits are required and we follow strict seasonal guidelines to protect the resource.
How we make it
Fresh plant material is cut, bruised, and slowly fermented to develop aroma and colour, then dried to lock in flavour. Wet to dry yield is roughly one third, which is why careful handling matters.

Sustainability and Community
Our honeybush journey is rooted in sustainability and community. Production is powered by solar energy, easing the load on the grid, while three local farmers hold equity in the business to keep value in the community. Every harvest is done responsibly under permit, with care for the surrounding habitat, and the supply chain is deliberately short, with processing and teabagging carried out locally in Cape Town to preserve freshness and support local jobs.
